Saturday, 9/2/00

-  I made a new section today!  It's a continuation of Trunks Goes Commercial?! called (obviously) Trunks Goes Commercial!?- Part II.  This time, it's all about Chibi Trunks' big acting debut.

-  Ooops, Darci-san's done it again!  Her new and hilarious Fan Manga is now ready to read!

-  Three more truly excellent editorials are now up in Enlightened Ones.

-  I really apologize about the downtime lately.  The instability of the server has prompted me to look for my own host.  I've went and already bought www.templeotrunks.com (don't bother going there, cuz nothing is up =P), so all I need to do now is to find a place to park it.  I'll keep you posted on this in the coming weeks.

-  Happy Friday, everyone!  Hope you like today's oddities.  First up, check out Trunks Cartoons to see two new stories.

-  Updated The Sexuality of Trunks with a few quotes.

-  Four awesome editorials have been posted in Enlightened Ones.   Hehehe, Underfaker's da man. =)

-  In Trunks Doujinshi, a couple of hot pictures have been added. ^_^

-  Since Trunks will be appearing for the first time on North American TV next week, I've decided to start a little fun project called "OPERATION: Say No To 'No Trunks'"!  Here is what it's about.  Remember months ago when Cartoon Network declared "we can't accept images of characters that haven't appeared on Toonami yet" and then they flashed on the screen 'NO TRUNKS'?  Well, now that Trunks IS gonna be a character on Toonami, let's give the nice people at Cartoon Network a little surprise!  Anyone who wants to, I don't care if you can draw or not, mail me (though the mail, not e-mail) a drawing of Trunks. I want a huge ass collection! If you are interested, e-mail me, and I'll give you all the info you need.   Once I get enough drawings (I dunno, 30 + sounds good), I want to mail an envelope full of Trunks drawings to Cartoon Network and have included a note saying "Say, Mr. Toonami, can we send you Trunks art NOW.. ?" or something like that.  Let's show CN how enthusiastic Trunks fans are!  Anywho, I hope to have them sent in very soon, so that they'll make the deadline for the next time Toonami shows fanart.  It would be interesting to see how many pics get shown on tv. :)

-  Helllo nurse!  Did any of you catch that commercial during Toonami today for the new DBZ episodes starting September 4?  I sure did!  And man oh man, was I ever ecstatic to see that this ad was all about Trunks!  Seeing as how I'm an over-obsessive fangirl, I've went and posted the ad on the site for you all to see.  Here it is, Cartoon Network's Trunks Commercial (located in the Movies section)!

-  What what, MORE Trunks ads?!  Well, kinda.   Thanks to Burndit for pointing this out to me!  Here is a pic of the cover for the Trunks TV Special that will come out in October! (Source- www.japanimation.com) [ps- thanks MrE for calling Trunks a "purple haired sex machine".  You'd better believe it, baby! *wipes tear from eye* ah, that made my night.]

- A new music video, with special thanks to Ore was Densetsu no Baka, has been made!  It's called "All Mixed Up!: A Gotenks Music Video".  This one is all about all the screwy fusions that Trunks and Goten go through before finally becoming the right version of Gotenks.  I hope you like it! (hey Longshot, Janemba, look! It's 311!)

-  I made a nifty Fan Manga update today that includes 2 new and odd Trunks stories. =)

-  Updated Random DBZ Fill In The Blank with a winner and a new sentence for the week.

-  Here's something random I noticed.  You know how the Trunks TV Special is going to be available next month on video (and if you didn't know that, I'll kick yer butt!)?  The name of the English version is gonna be called "The History of Trunks"?  Hey now, that's the name of a section on the ToT?   Made they got the idea to call it that from here?.....naaahh!!!

-   Wahahahaha! It's alive, aliiive! The new section took a lot longer than I thought, but I'm very happy it's done.  In the Trunks Info section, you'll find The Trunks Timelines.   This takes a look at every single form of Trunks, and every age he was in the DB series.  I figure since Trunks will make his first appearance on North American tv in a little over a week, an Info re-vamp was in order for fans who might want to learn more about him. ^_^ I hope you like it!

-  Good golly miss molly, the site is back up! Wheee, rejoice!  Too bad I didn't see it until now...I was riding the rides at the amusement park all day, hehehe.  It 'twas coo'.   The sreanime.net server seems to have gone back to normal for now.  let's hope it stays that way for awhile.

-  Since it's a little late for a real update now, I'll be adding the new section (among other things) tomorrow.  Hope you'll check it out!

-  As I'm sure you've been able to figure out by now, the site's been acting weeeeeird for the last few days.  First it's up, then it's down, then it's up, then it's down.  It's making it a real beotch to update.  Hopefully, it'll get stable again soon, and I can get back to business, but for now....

- ...check out my latest eBay Auctions!  This time around, I'm getting rid of a bunch of tapes I don't want anymore.  Maybe you'll find something you like there, I hope. =)

Tuesday, 8/22/00

-  4 Movie Clips from the new tapes have been added. 3 of them are Trunks clips (including the one where his sword gets broken and Part 2 of his flashback) and one DBZ clip, the highly requested scene of when Goku has a nightmare about his friends being killed.  Enjoy!

-  I made yet another Trunks Game!  This one is called Tic Tac Toe With Chibi Trunks.  This one speaks for itself, huh?  Hope you like it.

-  A non-Trunks Fan Manga (ok, it's about Vegeta. Close enough, at least they're related!) has been drawn up and ready to view.

-  Since quite a lot of people had a lot of trouble downloading the latest music video, I decided to move it to my other web space to see if that would solve the problem.  Try downloading "Smack My Bitch Up" again and see if it works.  I hope it does!

-  I added 2 more Links that I accidently overlooked on the last update! Sorry! *bows* No, link submissions are NOT open, I merely forgot to post these two last time. =P

-   ..........I don't wanna see another DBZ site for a long time! Waaahahaha!   *wails* Well, after getting between 50-60 link submissions, 12 made the final cut.   You can check out these truly great sites in the Links section.  And now, I must rant.  When I say I want people to send in original sites, stolen "pics, media, info, etc" doesn't cut it.  Stealing Planet Namek's layout and content *doesn't* mean you have a web site.  And please, if your site is brand new and doesn't even have half of it's sections working, please don't even bother submitting the link.  Man...I wouldn't think this update would be such a difficult   undertaking.   Just enjoy the new postings, ok? =)

- I made a new music video today, aptly titled "Smack My Bitch Up" for the fight between Vegeta and #18.  Why?  Because #18 totally made Vegeta her bitch in this battle, booyah!  I really had fun making this one, and it turned out good, so I hope you'll check it out!

-  For today only, I'll be opening Link submissions.  I don't know why I'm gonna bother saying this since no one listens anyway, but if your site doesn't have anything original to offer, please do not send your link.  I'd like sites to be fully developed before being sent to me.  So, if you'd like me to link your (original!) site, please e-mail me your url.  Submissions will be closed at midnight tonight.

-   Darci-san is delivering the goods again with yet another fun and twisted Fan Manga.   Since her submissions are becoming so numerous, she's getting her own sub-section within that section.  I have also re-organized the fan manga so it will be slightly easier to navigate.

-  A winning quote has been picked for Random DBZ Fill In The Blank, and a new sentence is up.  And for the love of cheese, have a little respect for the girl who is receiving submissions.  She really does not appreciate all the disgusting and immature entries she gets.  Please try to cooperate with Aira.  If ya send crap like that, she just deletes it, so don't waste your time.  Don't make me come over there. =P

- Updated Trunks POTW and Random POTW.

-  I gave the Trunks In English section a major makeover.  Now, you can look for sounds by their episode number!    This should make things a lot more efficient. =)

Wednesday, 8/16/00

-  Behold, a loverly batch of HUGE and pretty Trunks Screencaps!  I've only gone through 3 1/2 episodes on the new tapes, meaning I'm half-way done in making the latest screencaps.  I hope to have the rest up tomorrow.  Also, I've re-arranged the section so that there are 8 pages worth of screencaps, and on Page 8 are the previous "latest screencaps" from last time.   I hope this makes sense.  =P One more thing, I apologize if some of these new screencaps are "repeats" of old ones (sorry, but after nearly 450 screencaps of ALL Trunks, a gal kinda loses track of what she made).  Since the quality of the tapes were so good, I just went and re-made some of the crappier looking versions old old, fansub-originated screencaps.  Enjoy!

- Whew! It took awhile, but I got the latest batch of Trunks sounds from the new tapes all made and up in the Trunks in English section!   Enjoy these 19 new sounds.  You might be wondering why I wrote "Trunks is PMS-ing" on the title bar.  I did it cuz in a lot of these new sounds, Trunks sounds like he has quite the attitude problem.  Must be that time of the month.   Here, check 'em out (and a few of my other favorite sounds from this batch)!:

• To Vegeta- "How many times do you I have to tell you before it sinks into your thick skull!? Never under-estimate the power of the Androids!" Temper, temper!

• Again to Vegeta- "Grrrrr...YOU ARE TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE!" Oh, he's irritable! There's no need to talk back to your daddy! =P

• To Krillin- "They're [the Androids] ruthless and coldblodded. I told you that before, Krillin. Why even ask?" Now he's copping an attitude with poor, innocent Krillin!

• "Well, hoping doesn't get us anywhere, I'm afraid." Well now he's just bitching. ^_^

• Krillin:  "No offense, man, but your mom is just hard to deal with sometimes."  Trunks: "Heheheheh!  Believe me, I know what you mean." I just find this sounds cute, that's all. =)

-  Now that the sounds are out of the way, I'll have some big and pretty screencaps, as well as some movie clips from the new episodes up tomorrow.  Hope to see ya hear looking at them later!

-  Well, I just finished watching the 2 new tapes, and I am quite impressed!  I love the voice for #18! She's too cool, hehehe. You go, girl! #17 is spiffy too (*swoon* How dreeeammy! =P).  #16, er....scares me. ^_^ Anywho, I plan on having the usual crap load of sound files and screencaps that come with new Trunks episodes up on the ToT in a few hours.   For now, I just wanted to give my mini-review of the tapes.  They're amusing!   Although this may not come as any surprise, the episode containing the Trunks "Ki-Mind Power" Flashback scene had altered music. That's ok, I wasn't expecting it to remain the same.  Eric Johnson was able to make the scene cool beans anyway, even without the music. Ah, I'm easily entertained. =)  So, like I said, expect a lot of media stuff within the next few hours!

-  Added 5 utterly cute and funny pics to "Golden Lucky 5" in the Trunks Doujinshi section.

-  The mystery behind The Lost 80's Dragon Ball Dub has been "solved".  Check it out to read up on the origin of how this pre-FUNi dub came to be (and no, I'm not making copies of this movie for anyone!).

-  Props to Animerica magazine for featuring my boy Trunks in a DBZ article!  I've scanned it and posted it in a new sub-section called Special Features.   Here, you can read the mini-Trunks article and find that Spanish magazine/ToT stuff from awhile back.

-  The new Android tapes are coming out tomorrow, yippie!  You can bet your booty I'll be buying them, cuz they include the first appearance of my *other* boy, Juunanagou.  With new tapes comes a crap load of new Trunks sounds and screencaps over the next few days, so stay tuned for that!

-  Well, the thing I had planned for the main page isn't ready yet, but it should be up soon.

-   Everyone can relax!  Meri has returned from vacation! *turns on automated cheers and clapping* Thank you, thank you!  Well, Bermuda was awesome!  I wish I was back there. *sigh*...that's not to say I don't like it back in the U.S.  It's just that people in Bermuda are darn nice, and the water is clear, and....awww man, I want another vacation!  Anywho, I'm looking forward to updating dis monster.  I'm still getting my stuff settled back home, and I'm a bit frazzled.  I'll definitely have some new material up tomorrow, such as new fan manga and doujinshi scans!  Stay tuned!

-  Here it is, my big update before my cruise: a new Feature Film!  This one is called Educational DBZ Films, a parody of those lame short films from the 50's and 60's that try to teach kids life lessons.  Enjoy this, the last big thing I can make for you guys before I go!

-  As you can see by that large message up above, I request that no one e-mail during the next week, PLEASE.  The idea of coming home to hundreds of e-mails after a week doesn't appeal to me, so for the love of cheese, hold off all e-mails until my next update. -  Hot diggity damn, that *N Sync concert on Wednesday was incredible!  Definitely a concert to remember.  Well, I'm just checking in to say I haven't died or nothing, I've just been planning a trip I'm taking again today to NYC.  Surprise, surprise, I'm off to see *N Sync again at a charity basketball game with some friends and some online pals I'm meeting.  I'll definitely update tomorrow, though!  PLEASE hold off all e-mails until then. -  I've fixed 3 Trunks Movie Clips from Trunks' first appearance today.  The look a little odd but hey, the quality of my fansubs ain't so hot.  I think I only have 5 more clips I have to fix, so stay tuned for when those go up.

-  A very cute one-page Fan Manga is up today!  Ah, poor Goku.....

-  Well, in a few hours I'll be off to NYC for a concert (if you're a friend of mine, you know which one), and I dunno if I'll be able to update tomorrow depending on if I'm recuperating from it or not.  We shall see!

-  I whipped up a new music video (found in the Non-DBZ Music Videos section) last night based on the anime Revolutionary Girl Utena (my new obsession).  It shows clips from the movie (the movie for Utena is the more gorgeous piece of animation I have EVER seen) and it's called Adolescence Apocolypse.   A word of warning: this video has some mild lemony stuff.  If seeing 2 girls being pretty friendly makes you a bit squimish, then you might wanna stay away from this one.  I'm off! <gets ready to buy the Rurouni Kenshin dub, which sources say suck, but will buy it anyways>

-  A much needed image update was made today, so for your viewing pleasure, here are 18 new Scans on Page 2!

-  On a side note, it would appear that The Fate of Vegeta has went through some pretty umm...dramatic changes!  (for all those who might not get it, this new look of his is a gag.)  I'm mentioning this because his parody is a good way to introduce something that some friends and I are working on.  What is this project?  I'll just put it simply and say it's a little collection of editorials and rants made by people who are sick and tired of people and sites bashing the dub.  I hope to have the final project of this done within the next few weeks.

- Sorry I didn't have that music video up yesterday like I had originally planned.  Let's just say "something suddenly came up".  Anywho, here is the new music video.  I dunno what's up with me lately, between The Sexuality of Trunks section and now this...this..thing. =)  The music I used is like nothing I ever used before, but I really love it.  I'm not gonna give anything away other than the fact that it features some "different" DBZ "couples".  You'll have to see it for youself.  Here is "This Was Never Meant To Be"! (thanks to that person who made that awesome music video at Shoujocon that  inspired me to make this!)

-   Important Trunks news!  Planet Namek has reported that the Trunks TV Special WILL be released by FUNi on video in the fall! Yeeeehaw! *does the dance of joy*  For all those who haven't had the pleasure of seeing this great special, you'll have your chance to see it in the coming months.  Thanks MrE (wassup dawg) for revealing this information!

-  I was gonna have a music video up tonight, but I wanna work on it some more so it can be perfect.  Here's a hint as to what it's about:  you're most likely gonna think "this is so WRONG!" while you're watching it.  The final music video will be up tomorrow.

- Man, I saw so pissed the other day cuz I went to get my Rurouni Kenshin tapes, but the store didn't even order them...those bastards! I was gonna give a little opinion on the dub version, but it looks like I'll have to wait a bit 'till those morons at Suncoast get their act together.   Ah well.  If you do see them out and you got money to burn, I highly recommend getting the Japanese version.  RK is a great series with beautiful art! *end plug*

-  I made a new Humor section today called (be afraid) The Sexuality of Trunks.  It's pretty small right now (hey! Get yer mind out of the gutter!), but with the help of other people, I plan to make this section much larger in the near future.  Check it out!

-  Since a lot of people seem to have a lot of questions about Trunks himself, I've decided to make something called the Trunks FAQ.  What it'll be is a question and answer section all about Trunks, his life, and just general stuff. If you have anything you want to know about him, please e-mail me with a question and hopefully I'll be able to give a halfway decent answer.

-  Wow, the Shoujocon was spiffy!  I didn't win the music video contest, but that's ok because there were some amazing vids that really deserved to win.  Well, I'm back and ready to work again!

-  After months of nagging e-mails, I've finally gone and fixed some of the down Trunks and DBZ Movie Clips.  8 movies are back up, including the hilarious scenes when Trunks has to crossdress.   I'll have the rest of the down clips working again sometime this week.

-  I might some more stuff to add today, so stay tuned!

-  Quick update this morning!  Some new items are up in Operators Are Standing By.   This is all I've got for now, cuz I gotta go to work in a few minutes.  I   hope to have another update sometime today between getting ready for Shoujocon and seeing the X-Men movie (X-Men is out today, YES!!  I've been waiting for this for a looong time. ^_^). - I've added 7 Trunks Screencaps from the episode when Trunks goes back to the future to kill #17 & #18.  More images from this episode to come later!

-  After a long time, I've finally added a new Trunks Survey!  This time, it's all about what Trunks related DBZ songs.

-  SSJGoku33 was kind enough to send me the first few pages of that Spanish DBZ article about creative DBZ sites (the name of the aritlce is "¡SuperFans!".  Allright, I'm SUPER!) so I could see what else it was about.  Other than mentioning Vegeta Insane and the old skool ToT, it also talks about CDC's amazing "Little Saiyalings" comics, fanart stuff, and video games.  Anywho, here is another snipet of that article, this time talking about my very first Trunks Cartoon, "Trunks And The Pizza".  Man, it's so weird seeing that story described in Spanish, I'll say that much.  <in valley girl voice> I feel, like, so totally famous, or whatever!  But I do find it disturbing that the article uses words like "absurdo" (absurd) and "estupido pero muy divertida" (stupid but very funny) everytime it talks about my work.  Heheh, kinda makes sense though, doesn't it? =P  One thing that I wonder about this article is that it focuses on English DBZ humor/entertainment sites.  If it's a Spanish magazine, wouldn't they talk about Spanish sites?  Ah well, I'm not about to complain. ^_^ *sigh* I'm way too easily amused by this.

-  Here's a quick lil' thing that's pretty amusing!  On Ginga GIRI GIRI, you'll see some images of a spanish DBZ magazine that mentions a few sites, including Vegeta Insane, among others!  Pretty slick, huh?  Well, a sharp eyed fan noticed that the ToT was mentioned, too!  I've edited the pic a bit so you can see it better here!   Now, most of you may not recognize this url.  It's one of the many hosts (this one in particular was www.echercord.com/tot) I had before settling at this url.  I guess this must be an old article.  Oh yeah, here are some more edited pics from that scan of what some of my old sub-pages looked like!  Whoa, it's a time warp!   This is so trippy, yuk yuk yuk!

-  It wasn't my original intention to post this,  but since it's my submission for the music video contest at the Shoujocon next week (a new anime convention that coincidentally is being run by two female DBZ fanfic writers), I figured why not!   It's called "Simply Irresistable- The Women of Anime" (seeing as how Shoujocon is a con dedicated to girl's anime and manga, I thought a cool chicks video would be the way to go).  Since this is a submission for a music video contest, I made this the "old fashioned way" by using 2 vcr's rather than a computer.  As a result, the quality in some scenes looks downright weird (due to scenes I used from fansubs).   Most of it is normal, though.   This was supposed to be a music video just about the women of DBZ, but I decided to include as many female anime characters as I could.  Enjoy!

-  A few new Trunks Computer Goodies today, starting with 2 new Trunks Wallpapers and 3 Trunks Winamp Skins on Page 5.

-  I have an interesting surprise that may or may not happen within the next week or so.  Let's just say that it has to do with Trunks (buwahaha, how's that for a teaser?).  I'll announce it if this thing actually does take place, so stay tuned.

-  Since the second new Season 4 tape had Trunks in it, I went a little crazy and made 31 new Trunks Screencaps!    I apologize if some of these images are repeats of old ones, but since the video quality of these tapes is so much better than my crappy fansubs, I just went all out and made a boatload of Trunks pics for all you image junkies.

-  After a lot of procrastinating, I've finally made a Links update.  Man oh man, after 30 or so submissions to go though, I don't wanna see another DBZ site for a looong time!  I'm gonna have to start getting even more strict about what Links I post up, cuz more and more DBZ sites are starting to look the same to me.  Which brings me to the next issue at hand...

-  Link and Fanart submissions are CLOSED for now.  I won't be accepting any more link submissions because well, I'm being flooded with them, and I have about 30 or so Fanarts to go through for the next update so I don't need any more pics for now.  If I get any links or fanarts, I'll delete them.  My mailbox is being filled with 'em and I need to clean it out.

-  Trunks Voice Actor Info has been updated to show some data on the actor for Trunks in FUNi's DBZ.

-  I've updated (finally!) Trunks Pic of the Week and Random Pic of the Week with some funny doujinshi images.

-  A lot of people have been wondering about the 2 missing episodes of the new tapes that came out.   I'm more than certain that this is because those 2 episodes were part of the Burger King promotion, so they won't be released on regular video.  I don't see why they shouldn't air on tv, though.

-  Well, I broke down yesterday and bought one of the new Season 4 tapes.  Why? Cuz I realized Trunks was in the second tape! That's reason enough for you to go and buy it, too.   ^_^  So, let's celebrate the independence of our nation by looking at multimedia based on a Japanese animation character!

-  9 new Trunks Video Clips in English have been posted.  Wow, it's been awhile since I've made a movies update. =P

Friday, 6/30/00

-  I had to go digging through a bunch of old video tapes for this update!  I've re-encoded and re-uploaded my 3 "not made on the computer" Music Videos (now it's own section, btw).  Come With Me has, for the most part, better quality, Nasty Boys: Evil Men of Anime is now up and running again, and DBZ: Men in Black should be looking better.  While the file sizes of these 3 are larger, I think it's worth it.  The quality is better, however, since these videos were made on vcr's and not computers, a few scenes look mad weird, but the rest are fine.  Enjoy!

- Yesh indeed, as you've probably heard by now my fellow server-mate, VegettoEX, finally has his DaizenshuuEX site back up!  Oh, I know how that feels.  Check his site out for a bunch of new songs and editorials.

-  Sorry about this chessy update, but I've been busy with work and school and other things these last few days.  In fact, yesterday I went to New York and came back with some goodies that I have now placed on my eBay auctions!  The things I'm selling are some original Dragon Ball Manga from the Cell era, a great Androids poster, 90 DBZ trading cards, a huge Trunks sticker, and some DBGT episodes.  I have to go to my grandma's house today, so I'll see if I can make a "real" update when I get home. =P

-   Everybody's working for the weekend!  Well, I know I was! *spends paycheck at the mall*  Anywho, here are today's updates...

-  A lot of new Links have been added.  If you don't see yours up, it's because I didn't get to it yet.  I had a lot of submissions this time around....

-  The Random DBZ Fill in the Blank Contest has been updated, and a new sentence is up!

-  Even though this is old news, I just want to give my 2 cents about it.  As you all know, Tenchi Muyo is coming to Cartoon Network next month! Yes!  This is one of the most popular animes of the 90's, and I think it should do ok on tv.  I've seen about half of this series, and it's pretty good!  But since it's on tv, I expect that it'll be heavily edited.  There's a lot of sex stuff in the story, and Ryoko's always getting drunk, but it's really funny.  I know some people who have been wondering if the dubbing would be good.  Fortunately, this anime has been dubbed years ago by professionals, so there's nothing to worry about in that department.  In my opinion, Tenchi Muyo is one of the best dubs out there, next to Ranma 1/2.  This show has got humor, romance and action, and I think it's a show that'll please both the guys and girls out there!

-  I apologize for this pathetic update, but a friend of mine just got the Revolutionary Girl Utena movie so I'm gonna veg out and watch this movie that I've been dying to see. =)

-  After a week of downtime, the ToT is back and ready to party!  The cause of the downtime was that all of animenetwork.com (my host) was getting its IP address switched, but NSI was having problems so it took longer than expected...or...something like that.  Anywho, if this ever happens again, I DO NOT want people e-mailing me telling me about it!  I can't tell you how angry that makes me.  Of course I know my site is down!  I don't need to be nagged about it 24/7 (same goes for SREDBZ.  I'm sure he doesn't like being asked about it, either).  So, if there is ever downtime on this site again, go to Planet Namek because in that situation, they usually post what's going on with this site.  Well, now that I'm back in business, on with the update!

-  Ok, I know I shouldn't be doing this, but I simply couldn't resist.  As I'm sure you've seen by now, Planet Namek has posted a link to FUNi's new design for their DBZ site.  Why is this cool?  Because Trunks talks to you, lol!  Ok, not just Trunks, but a lot of the main characters spout out some interesting comments when you click on them on the main page.  The BEST one is when you click on the coolest 'droids around, #17 and #18.  Thank god they got GREAT voices!  I think I like #17's better than Trunks' ^_^.  His voices is dead ON!   I love it!  For all those who can't view this site because you don't have Flash, here are some wav files I made of a few of the best sounds on the new site:

-  Happy Memorial Day weekend!  Got a few new thangs today, yeehaw!  But first, I would like to share a dramatic personal story for you all. Today, I went to the mall when I walked by Suncoast Video, and what did I see playing simultaneously on 10+ screens was...TRUNKS!!!  I immediately RAN into the store, hyper that they were actually showing the Trunks tapes on their screens. I then did a little jig, hooted and hollered a bit, and got the attention of a cute employee who said to me "Look, I got a Super Saiyan Trunks keychain", and lo and behold, he had a Trunks keychain.  Ah, a kindred spirit!  Needless to say, I was a very merry Meri.  <sigh>   Wow...you know Trunks has hit America when the episodes are being shown in public malls. <g>  On with the updates!

-  Here is a cheesy lil' feature I call "Meri's Top Five Dub Trunks Quotes!".  From 1-5, 1 being the highest, here are the scenes I just can't get enough of:

#5:  "How about a cold drink?  Goku's not due to arrive for 2 more hours.  It's pretty hot and dry out here." The boy's got enough to share with everyone!  How sweet.   Gimme root beer!

#4:  "I'm all that's left, I'm doing the best I can!  They're all gone!  Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chaotzu, Piccolo...they're all going to lose their lives against the androids in a horrible battle.  There will be only one survivor.  That's my master and best friend, Gohan.  He narrowly escapes from that battle, but then, 13 years later....they finally get him!"  Ooh, this is Trunks' dramatic scene!  And there's just something about Trunks saying "my master" that is interesting....."Yes master, anything you say, master!  My wish is your command!". Meow. =P

#3:  "Hey, follow me!   Don't worry, I won't bite!  This way!" He said the word "bite".  'Nuff said! ^____^ <Meri's brain goes surfing in a gutter>

#2:  "Thank you, my name is Trunks.   This is going to sound really strange, but I'm not from this time.  I travelled here in a time machine 20 years in the future."  Hey, you can't go wrong with a straight up intro.  Plus, it's just *weird* hearing the name "Trunks" in an english episode.

and my #1 quote:  "Father...you're so tough and proud, hard and cold like a rock.  But still, deep down, your heart beat like mine does.   I know you feel....I'm your son.  I'm your son, and I will always love you.   I'm glad I got to see you, dad.  Farewell, young mother.  May the good spirits keep you safe." See, I like this!  FUNi is kinda sorta not really making Trunks something of a romantic (for lack of a better word).  I can't help it, hearing him say "I'll always love you" to Vegeta is just TOO damn amusing.

As you may or may not see, some of these sounds are new and I've added them to Trunks In English.

-  Since I'm too lazy to write my own opinion on the Trunks tapes just yet, please take the time out to read this fabbo review of the new dub by Castor Troy of Ginga Giri Giri/Vegeta Insane!  Trust me, it's good read  (better than anything my giggly self can write at the moment =P).

-   Speaking of reviews of the Trunks tapes by other web masters, please read this wonderful and comprehensive feature by DaizenshuuEX!   If you wanna find out the differences between the dub Trunks and the original, this is the place to go!  (whew, he made my job much easier...^_^)  Is tres spiffy, man.

-  Whew, what a hectic week it's been!  I really needed a few days off from this site to recuperate from Tuesday's update.  But I'm back, with more Trunks fun!

-  Made a new Trunks music video for da ladies! It's called "Dress You Up In My Love- Cute Trunks Moments".  I made this when I was in a totally "Trunks Teenybopper" mood, and I swear, I haven't felt this way in years.  It's kinda fun!  Well enjoy!  I was gonna update more today, but I don't feel too good.  But definitely expect a lot more stuff pertaining to the new Trunks tapes tomorrow.

-  Ah, Trunks Day has almost drawn to a close...but trust me, I'm not gonna let it end without doing something nice!  With great quality tapes comes some great quality Screencaps!  I'm gonna give you fair warning:  these images are huge, especially the first one with Trunks on the rock, but they're gorgeous!  I made about 50 caps total, but for now, I only posted 28.  I wanna save the rest for a later date.  Hope you like 'em!

-  Well, that just about wraps it up for The Arrival of Trunks Day!  Aww, it seemed so short to me.  I still have an editorial to write on my personal experience, as well as pointing out the changes made in the dub, so stay tuned for those.  I hope you guys enjoyed all the new goodies that were posted today, and if you haven't bought the Trunks tapes yet, go out and get 'em.  They're damn good, really!  Adios for now, friends!

-  Well, I just finished watching the Trunks tapes.....and I am utterly impressed. I feel all tingly and fuzzy inside! I'd ramble on about this some more, but I'll save it for a later update when I'm not as hyper.  On with the second big update of the day!

-  The first batch of Trunks In English sounds in WAV format have been made.  I've made 12 so far, plus a sound of that background music that was played during Trunks' Burning Attack.  More to come in a few hours.  Enjoy!

-  Hello everyone, and welcome to the improved Temple O' Trunks!  The place is sporting a new main design, and a modified color scheme (which may or may not change in a matter of days, cuz I'm getting Photoshop)!  The sub pages are basically the same design, but are differnt colors and have new title images.  All of this to ring in....the offical arrival of Trunks in North America!  Yeah, baby YEAH!  The MAN is HERE!!!   Now, you might be wondering why I'd go to such great lengths for this day.   You see, I've been waiting for this day for 3 long years, so I wanna make this really special.  Yep, I've been watching the old Purple Haired Wonder for that long thanks to my fansubs, and now, he's here in English for us silly Americans to see!   To be honest, I never thought FUNi would ever get this far in the dub, but I guess they proved me wrong!  I just hope people grow to love the great character of Trunks as much as me.  Now, in addition to the new layout, the ToT has some spankin' NEW SECTIONS!  Here's a run down of them:

-   In the Media section there's a sub-section called Trunks Computer Goodies.  This section contains the all new Trunks WinAmp Skins, and some old sections from before.

-   An entire new main section is the Games section.  This is probably the section I spent the most time on. =P  This fan-interactive sections has new stuff called Trunks Mad Libs and Choose Your Own Trunks Adventure.  I really recommend that you try these two out.   I worked my buns off on them, hehe.  The Games section now contains the Trunks Video Game and Tests.

-  In light of some people getting the tapes already and hearing these Trunks sounds, I've made a section that shows the Early Opinions of Trunks In English.  Again, when Tuesday comes around, I plan to write a full blown rant of what I think of the dub Trunks, as well as posting more opinions of other people.
