Sunday, 12/31/00
- Wow...can you believe the
year 2000 is almost over? I sure can't.
It's been a tremendous year for the ToT, so thanks to
the fans who keep coming back here for more weirdness!
Time flies when you're having fun! I want to apologize
in advance, because I wanted to have some Trunks movie
clips from the last dub episode up today. Sadly,
my capture card decided to stop working, so I'm pretty
much screwed until I can fix it. What I can promise
is a neat surprise that will be up tomorrow, if things
go as planned. Now, on with the goodies I *was*
able to make!
- Android 18 has gone through
all of her Trunks Fanfics submissions, and I posted
a few of the written works up. The reason why
only a few of the new submissions are posted is because
several people didn't write their own names on their
fanfics. If you don't see yours listed, please
contact Android
18 and tell her which one you wrote.
Once we figure out who wrote what, I'll post the rest.
- I've added 6 Philippine sounds
to the Trunks Around the World section!
- New predictions have been
added to Look into the Future.
- A couple of new quotes are
in up Sexuality of Trunks. Submissions
for this section have been uh...pretty lackluster lately...that's
why there aren't so many posted ^_^.

- How I adore looking outside
the window to see the world covered in beautiful snow....yeah,
a whole friggin' foot of it. Needless to say,
I'm stuck indoors for awile, seeing as how I can't dig
my car out of my driveway. It's a cold winter's
day, but maybe these nice new Trunks

I'll be home all day, I'll probably add a new batch
of fanfics later on.
- Well....yesterday was the
last appearance of Mirai Trunks in the dub. Ah,
Trunks, we harldy knew ye! But fear not!
Chibi Trunks will be on the way with the new episodes...god
only knows when those will air. Anycrap,
I'll later add some movie clips of when Trunks goes
back to the future and kicks some Android bootie.
If you can't wait till then, I already have those clips
in Japanese in my Movies
section.
Thursday, 12/28/00
- Aww, I'm so sad
to see the holidays pass, but at least the time was
a joyous one! I got lots of neat stuff, like a
brand new video capture card *drool* (I've spent the
last 2 days trying to get it to work, which is why I
haven't updated). The weirdest thing I got above
all was a surprise gag gift from my grandma: a
Trunks pillow. *sweatdrops* It's kinda funny looking,
so I'll post a pic of it (using my mom's new digital
camera, huzzah!) sometime when I get bored. I
hope y'all had a good holiday,too! On with the
update.
- 10 beautiful images have been
posted in Trunks Doujinshi- Page 2 under
"Misc. Doujinshi Pics." As you might
be able to see, I re-organized the Doujinshi section
so that all the Contributed and Misc. Piics are on one
page, and the stories are on another. This should
make things load faster.
- Trunks goes back to the future
today on dub DBZ, for all those who don't know.
Look for a nice moment between Vegeta and Trunks.
I'll probably have a movie clip of it up later today
or tomorrow.
- Since I got a new capture
card, expect some better quality Trunks pics from DBZ
movies 7 & 9 in the coming days. I'm gonna
go play with my new X-Mas toys some more, so bye! *fries
brain playing The Sims*
X-Mas, 12/25/00
- Happy holidays, everybody!
I hope you're having an awesome winter break so far.
As you can see just by looking...the ToT is looking
different. That's right, that is the ToT X-Mas
present I was talking about! I've had the old
layout up since May, so I figured it was time to do
something different. Kinda looks like "ToT
Does Las Vegas", huh? I kept the colors the
same, because I like them (and it would be a hassle
to change *all* of the sub-pages). Oh, speaking
of which, I changed the layouts to the main sub-sections,
too (Humor, Media, etc). Now, they have descriptions
for each section, so you know what you'll be in for
when you click on the links. The only thing I
didn't change was the look for the sub-sub-pages, since
those are already pretty basic.
Now, in addition to the main layout
and menu changes, I also altered a few other things.
First the Trunks Cels sub-section has been moved
to Images. I got rid of the "Trunks'
First Appearance" section cuz, well, I needed the
server space. I have also retired the Survey section.
It was getting pretty hard to come up with Trunks-related
questions over the course of three years, so I decided
to discontinue that.
Well, that's the surprise! I
hope you like the new layout, and find it aesthetically
pleasing and helpful. I'll probably make some
more modifications to it in the coming days, though.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Get real! When the ToT delivers the goods, the
ToT does it with a bang! And here is that bang.
Coming within weeks: An Interview With Eric Johnson
(the voice actor of Trunks, for all ya punk-asses who
didn't know that)!! Yes indeed! I've finally
contacted the man, and he's agreed to an interview for
this site! We're still working out the details
right now, but I'm sure things will be figured out soon.
Stay tuned for that. It's bound to be really fun,
and a great experience.

- Wheee! The new Feature Film
has been made! Since the old X-Mas Film was lost
in the server move, a new holiday Film has been made
in it's place. It's called A
Christmas Carol- DBZ Style.
As you can tell from the title, it's a parody of the
classic Charles Dickens story. I hope you enjoy
it!
- I've decided that I just can't
handle submissions for a few sections any more...therefore,
I have gotten some extra help! If you'd like to
submit some Fanart
to the ToT, e-mail your drawings to Dena.

18. I've also gotten a new helper
for "DBZ Never Says", but I'll probably post
the info for that tomorrow.
- The new Version 4.0 download
for The Trunks
Video Game is now available, as well as
an FAQ made by the creator of the game himself.
i highly suggest checking out the FAQ, because I'm sure
it'll prove to be helpful.

- My gosh, did you see DBZ today?
Veggie-chan showed....feelings towards his son! *sniff*
Kinda gets ya right where it hurt, doesn't it?
Even though they edited out Trunks' little nasty scene
(and deservedly so *shudder*) I like how that
scene was handled in the dub better than the original
version. So sue me, I like the fact that Vegeta
went on about his boy. It's more interesting that way.
Anycrap, on with the update.
- Darci-san has added a *wonderful*
new addition to her Trunks Time Collection with the
story "Christmas Time Trunks". You can
find it in the Fan Manga section.
Will Trunks get who he wants for X-Mas? You'll
have to go and see for yourself. ^_^
- Whoops, I goofed when I made
yesterday's screencaps update. I forgot to move
the previeous new addtions to different sections.

- Yep, Trunks got killed today,
hot damn. Doesn't he have a neat death?
Cell just shows up and ZAP! Thar he blows.

For comparison's sake, here is the Japanese
version of Trunks' death. I'm more
than certain that the scene when Trunks coughs up blood
will be cut out tomorrow. It's really pretty gross

- YES!!! All my finals are over!
A month off from school! Huzzah am I. To
celebrate, I've added a whopping 100 images to the Trunks
Screencaps section. What I've done
was that I re-made the entire Trunks TV Special portion,
using the "History of Trunks" video as a source.
These pics are really high quality (and pretty large),
so I hope you'll enjoy viewing them as much as I liked
making them!

- I've had 3 final exams in
2 days. As you can imagine, I feel half dead.
*sigh* Only one more to go, and I get a month off from
school! Anywho, on with the update.
- I've finally gotten rid of
that crappy Ezboard! My pals Arcada, Cat, Lunch,
Anzu, Android 17 and I have dug up some dough and decided
to buy an Ultimate Bulletin Board! It's very spiffy
so far, but we have a lot more fun things we wanna add
to it. Check out the new message

- Holy crap, Too Much Trunks-
Page 2 has been updated! It's been
months, huh? These are submitted entried up until
August 2000. Trunkstar7
hasn't gotten around to editing the rest yet.
Keep in mind the the ones I just posted is only HALF
of the total quotes that have to go up. I'll post
the second half tomorrow. Well, I got two finals
tomorrow that I should be studying for, so I am off.

Wednesday, 12/13/00
- With Gohan's transformation
episode airing on t.v. yesterday, I was able to remake
an old music video of
mine, "Gohan
Transforms to SSJ2- Spirit vs Spirit"
(Version 2.0). The quality of this one is great,
even if the stupid CN logo in the corner. The
only major change I made was that for the scene when
#16 gets killed, I used the Japanese version insted
of the English verion, since the dub one was slightly
edited. Enjoy!
- Before I make this next update,
I would like to say that I did not steal this idea from
Planet
Namek (I was simply reminded that I had
signed up for something I forgot about :P). I
signed up for an account with CafePress months ago, at the
suggestion of a friend, but never did anything with
it cuz I was too lazy to make the merchandise.
But, when PN said they were making shirts, I remebered
that I could do that, too. So I whiped up some
purty thangs, and made some fun ToT stuff. With
that said, here goes the sales pitch:

Tuesday, 12/12/00
- Today was the day, huh? Gohan
goes SSJ2! I can safely say I never thought I'd see
this on U.S. tv. My opinion? The beginning of the major
scene started off *awesome*. Nearly perfect translation,
good acting...yeah....even the editing of the smooshing
of #16's head was well done. But then it went downhill
the moment Gohan snapped. But you don't need me to tell
you the rest. I'd tell you to go download whatever clips
of this scene I made, but I can't, since I'm not home
right now. I'm making this update from VegettoEX's place,
so this is kinda a pain in my butt. But speaking of
him, he's already gone and posted a mad hot MPEG of
the scene at his site. Go check it out!
Monday, 12/11/00
- Aw yeah baby. One of
the most dramatic moments in the history of DBZ will
air tomorrow on Cartoon Network. You know I'm
talking about the transformation of Gohan, of course.
I have no doubt that the scene'll be butched, but I
really look forward to seeing how it will be handled.
I hope that Stephanie chick knows how to scream.

It's been slightly re-edited to be like a music vid,

- A lot of new items have been
added to A Look Into
the Future. Now there's a section
that hasn't been updated in awhile...
- In Trunks Doujinshi,
I've posted a couple of new Miscellaneous Trunks pics.
One is downright adorable, while two are...downright
scary.
- Progress on the ToT X-Mas
Surprise: about 20% or so. Damn finals week, keeping
me busy. :P

- Updated Scans- Page 2 with
some new images from the Cell and Freeza Sagas.
They're so purty. ^_^
- The ToT contributed some small
info to a Australian kids magazine called K-Zone.
There's a DBZ article in it all about "the new
kid on the block" called *gasp* Trunks!
I'll have some scans of that up soon. It's corny
in an amusing kind of way. I'm just glad I was
able to help in my small little way (even though they
didn't give me any credit, hehehe...-_-;).

- Ah, I'm so happy this new
Music Video is
done! It's by far the best quality video I've ever made
(hehe, sorry that the file sizes are huge), and it's
just dang cool. What is it? Why it's the Trunks Music Video:
Heart of Sword- Version 4.0. Please check it
out! I don't think you'll be dissappointed. it kicks
so much more ass than the old versions, yup yup. I'll
have a RealVideo version of the video up sometime later
today. Um, I'm making this update from work, so forgive
me if some things are messed up. I'll fix stuff when

- In the Games section,
a fun little activity called Trunks
Puzzles has been added. This is like
those games where you get a messed up image, and you
have to move the squares around in order to get the
picture back to normal. So far, there are 8 puzzles
to choose from. Enjoy!

- Oh wow, I can't believe how
hard it was to undertake this little task. I went
and re-organized the Trunks Screencaps
section so that is easier to navigate and will
load faster. Now you can look up images by which
version of Trunks you wanna see. Also, I deleted
images that I had more than one of. My original
plan was to make a new batch of pics today, but first
I thought some cleaning of that section was in order.
Maybe I'll have new pics up tomorrow or something. :)

- Ya know, I was thinking about
writing a review on the two new Dragonball video releases...(here
comes the "but"). But, seeing as how
two competent sites have gone and done such, I don't
think there's any need for me to say anything, although
I will throw in my two cents pretty quickly. First
up, the new Staff
Ramble at GingaGIRIGIRI
places an emphasis on the awful music and mistranslations
of the Bardock TV Special. At DaizenshuuEX,
their review
is a compare and contrast editorial between the Bardock
Special and the dub of DB Movie 3. So, if you
want to know about the new tapes before deciding to
buy them or not, please check out the reviews at these
sites. My opinion? The Movie 3 DB dub was
friggin' incredible. Original music, good translation,
and gosh damn it, "Makafushigi Adventure"
was left in! This is probably my new favorite
FUNi dub *ever*. The Bardock Special on the other
hand...while the voice acting was good, the slightly
mangled plot (since when can Bardock read minds?) and
less-than-stellar dialogue made it kinda hard to swallow.
I didn't have anything against the music. I mean,
it was good, but it had no place in a DBZ thing, so
that really ruined the mood of the Special (much like
the "The History of Trunks"). My suggestion:
don't buy the Bardock Special dub. Get the DVD
so you can see it in Japanese (says she who doesn't
even own a DVD player, bah). But, if you wanna
see a GOOD dub, go out and buy DB Movie 3, "Mystical
Adventure". That's all for now!
Tuesday, 11/21/00
- Today is an important date
for new releases, like...the new BSB album! Just
kidding, hehe...but, it is true that some important
DBZ items are coming out today. I have just bought
the dub Bardock TV Special, as well as DB Movie 3.
I've already made 5 movie clips
of some important scenes from the special. To
be honest, I haven't even watched the tape all the way
through yet. C'mon, I got school to go to 'n stuff.
I'll write up a review of it when I have enough time
to give it a good watch. Same goes for the DB
Movie 3 tape. But in the meantime, please cheack
out Lost 80's Dragon
Ball Dub to see how that movie was originally
dubbed before FUNi got their hands on it. Anywho,
please enjoy the Bardock clips I've made so far.

- YES! That new music video that
has been delayed for a few days now is finally complete.
it may be late, but boy, it was worth it. I *really*
like how this one turned out, and I hope y'all like
it as much as I liked making it! Behold the new

That's right, as I'm sure you can guess,
this one is all about posing in Dragonball. This
video is also my first real collaboration. VegettoEX
of DaizenshuuEX helped
pick out the clips that were used in the vid 'n such.

purty and colorful and large Screencaps
from the episode when Trunks comes out of The
Room of Spirit and Time (hmmm....do you sense a
pattern going on here?). Yes, I know I made screencaps
before from the episode when Trunks comes out of The
Room of Spirit and Time (gee, maybe I'm trying
to get a point across or something), but my fansubs
suck, so it makes sense to remake those caps from the
dub version. I would have added sounds from this
episode, but I am dealing with the week from hell right
now (2 midterms to study for, both are doozies!), so
the sounds will have to come later (as well as screencaps
and sounds from The History of Trunks).

- Did you see the end of DBZ
today? I hope you did, because THIS
is the reason I'm happy to be a Trunks fan.
Girls, give it up for our new and improved hottie and
happy drooling! Speaking of episodes, be sure
to watch tomorrow's, cuz there's a funny scene with
Bulma and Trunks regarding his new hair-do (well, I
HOPE the dub version of this scene will be funny....).
- Added the last 6 movie clips
from the second half of "The History of Trunks"
(which will be out in stores tomorrow!). I highly
recommend downloading the last clip of this batch.
It's when Trunks leaves Bulma to time travel to the
future, and it's just too sweet. Plus, we get
to hear him say "I love you"! ^_^
For all you crazed fans out there, close your eyes and
pretend he's saying it to you. :P

- The first of many dub Trunks
TV Special items is now ready for download! It's
a movie
file of the scene when Trunks
transforms into a Super Saiyajin for the first time.

- ...................*in a daze* That
was....in...Ennnggglish! *slaps self* It's ok, I'm alright.
Just trying to recuperate, that's all. Now....I
may not be completely coherent just yet, but I'll try
to give my reactions while they're fresh. Listen
up! ^_^
* The big one (well, to me,
it is): They gave Trunks a last name. That's
right! Let the Temple O' Trunks be the first to
tell you that Trunks' full name in the dub version of
DBZ is "Trunks Brief". No more speculating,
huh? Neat! This is good since in the Japanese
version, Trunks' last name (could either be "Vegeta"
or "Brief") was never mentioned. Me
being the corny fan girl I am, this means a lot to me,
hehe.
* The music: Go ahead
and kick my ass, I LIKED it. Whatchu gonna do
about it, foo'!? I'm very tempted to buy the soundtrack.
Although a bit of the music didn't really go with the
scenes (the BIGGEST mis-match: rap during the scene
when Gohan gives Trunks the last senzu), it generally
set the tones for the scenes fairly well. It's
definitely a lot better than the crap we're
subjected to during the regular TV episodes. I
found tha music for the special very tolerable.
* Voice acting: Better than
normal. #17 was especially good, and we got to
hear #18 say "this sucks" ^_^ As for
Gohan, he was kinda hot-sounding, so I'm glad.
And da man himself, Eric Johnson does a great 13-year
old Trunks voice! Sounds nice and....pre-pubescent.
:P I was happy with the way he acted out the death
scene. Nice nice indeed *claps*.
* Dialogue: The major
disappointment of this video. Very few lines were
kept the same as the original, and while it didn't mess
with the plot at all....I dunno...I guess I could have
done without hearing dialogue when characters aren't
supposed to be speaking. That really messes with
the mood, yo. That's not to say that some
of the unnecessary dialogue wasn't amusing!
I kinda enjoyed all the remarks #18 made about clothes,
and the things #17 was saying while running over people
with his car was just too funny!
All in all, I'm quite pleased with
how the dub of the Trunks TV Special turned out.
While it doesn't capture the emotion of the story as
well as the original version, it is still damn good
production as far as FUNi is concerned! I'm impressed.
If you're a fan of Trunks, or just want to see a great
one-shot DBZ story, I highly recommend picking this
one up!

heard right. *Soundtrack*) for The History of Trunks.
Just thought ya'd like to see it so you know
what it looks like in stores. ^_^

- Saw the Trunks DVD's last
night, soooo...it is time for my mini, half-arsed review
(c'mon, admit it. You don't wanna read some lengthy
shizzat! You want me to get straight to the point,
don'tcha? Ok, I will!). Here we go!
The goods: Sound and video quality. *droool*
I felt like Trunks was right there with me! Oh
wait, that wasn't Trunks, that was random guys in the
dorm. The translations- dead on! Wheee,
thanks Daimao guy! The menus- extra purty.
Umm..I'm easily amused, so I loved these DVD's to death.
For all you people who whine about not seeing the original
version of DBZ, don't whine! Go out and get these
DVD's! They're like whoaaa...Meri gives 'em two
thumbs up. Thanks EX for letting me watch them.

- I'm gonna try to have a new

- Woohoo, it's only an hour
and a half after today's DBZ episode, and I've already
got 5 new Trunks In English
sounds ready for listening!
- I've posted 15 high quality
and majorly cute images from yesterday's episode in
the Trunks Screencaps
section. Some of these are repeats of old images,
but these look *much* better than my cruddy old, fansubbed-captured
pics!

- Alrighty, my damn scanner
is still being weird. Heck, I even resorted to
trying to scan my stuff at work, but I ran out of time.
Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. In the meantime,
check this out!
- Now that episodes that aren't
yet available on video have begun airing on Cartoon
Network, that means a lot more work for me! I'm
gonna attempt to make more clear screencaps of Trunks
and new sound bytes from these episodes on a fairly
regular basis. Look at what a freak I am, I already
went and made 10 sound files from today's new episode
and put them in the Trunks In English
section! Hope you enjoy them!
Remember, the ones with the smiley face ^_^ are the

- Grrrr, I was planning on adding
a crud load of cool images today, but my scanner is
fudged up. I'll definitely try to have a
good handful of pics up tomorrow, though. In the
meantime, here's a Trunksly news bit (ok, so it's not
really news). Tomorrow is the episode when Trunks
plays with the squirrels on Cartoon Network. Watch
it and die laughing. :) That is all! I hope the
dub will capture the pure stupidity and cuteness of
the scene. ^_^

- I apologize for the lack of
updates these few days. The reason? I made
a new music video!
Yessiree bob, this is one that I've wanted to make for
a long time, but only had the chance to put it together
now. It's a video all about the abusive relationship
between Trunks and Vegeta called "It's
A Sin: A Vegeta and Trunks Music Video".
It's a tad depressing, but I hope you'll like it anyway!

really interesting, and the sounds at the end rule!

- The Temple O' Trunks
has just passed it's 1,000,000th hit! Wheee! Only took
2 and a half years, but hell, it's damn cool! *begin
awards-like acceptance speech* I just wanna thank me
mommy and daddy, and every fan of the ToT that made
this all possible! This site wouldn't be anywhere without
the continuous support of the fans, so I thank you for
that! Speaking of the fans, I got 2 entries for the
1,000,000 visitor contest, and I don't trust either
of them! Therefore, no one wins until either someone
fesses up, or I come up with some kind of plan. Anywho...this
is quite the milestone! I seriosuly never thought that
errr...anyone would go to the ToT when I first made
it, let alone get this far, so...thanks again to all
the fans! You rock. I'm writing this from VegEX's dorm , so this is kinda
half-assed. ^_^ Sorry! I'll have a real update tomorrow.

been made! Sorry it's been so long since the last
one. There's a reason for that. My mom bought

- Kinda got a situation going
on with my forum on the BBA, but 's all good!
Since I'm such a freak, here I am, at work, getting

- Sorry it took so long to make
this update. Going back to college took a lot
out of me. Anyway, you know how I said earlier
that I was getting a Vegeta cel? Where there was
a slight mix up, and I ended up with a animation sequence
of Trunks cel drawings! Hot damn, that's just
as good! (Don't worry, I still might get the Vegeta
one, and I just ordered some more Trunks ones.
I'm turning into a cel junkie!) To view these

- Ah, the crazy things I'll do when
I hear a random song on the radio that sparks an idea....well,
here is a new music video
for your enjoyment! I really kind of made this
on a whim, but I liked how it turned out! It's

features some of the shyest guys in the series and their
relationships with the characters of the female pursuasion.
