The Files Battle Across the DBZ Community

One day, I was on VeggettoEX's site. I knew he always was upset when he found a lot of his files on another page, but that day I found out what real havoc an Elite Webmaster(Mr.E and his staff, VeggettoEX, Castor Troy, Meri Cantoni =) ) can cause around the DBZ community. homepages.infoseek.com/~dragonballgtz/first.html is the URL of a sad example. The webmaster of the page became so upset because VeggettoEX and many others were bothering him about stolen files he shut his page down. Because other peoples greed and lust to have what is for everyone, he had to close his site. He now hates DBZ and wishes he never heard of it. His guestbook, which I am suprised to see still up, contains one such battering message:

Now, would you like your page which you worked on everyday, but used a few images and files from other sites on, to be shut down and theoretically have its ashes spit on? For practicing freedom of speech and will?! I DON'T THINK SO! They may be page pirates, but they are not barbarians who devote their lives to stealing files!

Plus, everyone is now so opposed to page pirates, it's like trying to fight something that isn't there. In Castor Troy's mailbag, there are A LOT of people opposing the invisible page pirates out there. Nowadays Planet Namek.com's subdued page pirate hunting slaves are usually coming up emptyhanded. pj84@bellsouth.com has a page pirate page(toonami.dynip.com/ultimategohan)is oe of the supposed page stealing freaks. He stole everything he has from other pages, but is a really nice and intelligent guy and asks for permission to use everything. When they said no, he still took it, but he is not a dumbass.

The DBZ web community is no longer on how good of an info site you have, or making fun of FUNimation, it's about how many files you can get your hands on before someone else gets it, and blaming them for stealing what was made by and for the public. DBZ is not mine, Mr.E and his band of jolly co-webmasters, Castor Troy's, Meri's, VeggettoEX's or anyone else but Akira Toryama. So why is a part of it suddenly yours if your damn banner is on it?
