Dubbies, Subbies, and the In Between
People

WARNING: THIS IS NOT HATE MAIL. There
may be some bitter lines thrown tothe subbies, but this
is not intended for a feud to start. I repeat, this
is NOT hatred. This is just my simple stating opinions.
First, let us review our vocabulary.
Dubbies- Watch "American" DBZ,
but have no knowledge of series 4 and up.
Subbies- Watch subtitled DBZ and put down FUNimation's
work.
In Betweeners- Watch "American" DBZ, but know
about series 4 and up,haven't watched the subtitled
series, yet get info off the net. (Y'know, the reason
you're reading this right now)
Okay, then. That should clear up the things I am about
to say. Subbies know FUNimation sucks. They have sucked,
do suck, and always will suck. Right? Wrong.
Face it, without FUNimation, we wouldn't know or give
a crap about DBZ. Besides, they're the ones who add
those once-in-awhile funny lines. That's it. End of
story.
Anyway, dubbies watch - and love - "American"
DBZ. They have sucked, do suck, and all that. Right?
Wrong again. Know why? Because they enjoy it.
People want more people to like DBZ. Dubbie, subbie,
in between, doesn't matter. We all know about Goku,
Gohan, and everyone in "America's" DBZ. What
difference does it make how much you know about the
show if you don't enjoy it? If you don't like it, no
one cares the info you have
packed inside your twisted puny brain.
So, then. Dubbies suck, subbies are better, what about
the in between people?
In my opinion, the in between people are better. I'm
not just saying this because I am (now partially) one.
I'm saying that they're better because they know info,
they watch DBZ on Toonami, and they still crave for
more. Dubbies want more for the suspense. Subbies are
like, "Okay, Trunks killed Frieza (Or Freezer.
Whatever.). Big deal. Majin Buu is WAY stronger. But
wait! They'll beat him, too! I know what's gonna happen!
Maybe I don't really need to watch it! I know everything!"
The in between people think, "Okay. Trunks killed
Frieza. Then Cell comes. But how does the fight go?"
They know that Cell will die and all that, but they
won't get descriptive detail until Toonami shows it,
or they see a subbed version.
Well. That's about everything I can think of now. Oh,
wait. There's one more. Here's a little message for
the subbies:
Don't like the dubbed version? Watch the International
Channel, stupid. They have no censers, nothing cut out,
and all the voices you love! Oh, yes. I almost forgot.
They don't have the words in English at the bottom of
the screen like in the subbed videos, but don't worry.
It's still enjoyable, even if you don't know what the
hell they're saying.
Okay, end of my sarcasm. Don't wanna keep you.
May Trunks live on,
