Redemption For FUNimation?  Never.

This is totally spontaneous, I know, but I was thinking *gasp*; YOU KNOW HOW SCARY IT WOULD GET IF THEY DUB TRUNK'S VOICE???????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eek! Oh my gosh! I cannot even imagine him saying such things as "mondo cool" or some of the other things Funimaton has the DBZ gang saying! Don't even want to think about it... What's worse is that Funimation could care less about the wants of the fans. Subtitled versions? Of course not! They are killing our beloved anime right in front of our eyes; and sometimes I think there is nothing we can do to save it. Do you think I am crazy? Just imagine Trunk's voice Funimation style. The thought makes me want to destroy my tv just so that they can't get me. Even though I believe that DragonBall Z has no equal when it comes to anime, I can't stand the "American Version" of DBZ- it's been butchered to the point of no return. The voice acting is HORRIBLE in season three (especially), and the music reminds me of some of my old video games! Don't even get me started on the script and the censorship. Doesn't this nation stand for free speech and expression? Oh, we can't degrade our poor little kiddes now! Just go watch the news, it's worse some nights than DBZ will ever get at times. Want to know how to make a pipe bomb? If you're lucky, the news just might show how! (I have actually seen news programs do this). Anyway, it all comes back to the stupidity of me things, I suppose. Yeah, and I am just another fan going off on how dumb she perceives these things to be. Sorry if you happen to like this version (I know that you will fry me- right on with the Vegita freaks!), but I figured that, with the number of people that visit this site, that it may be possible to attempt some sort of boycott or something. Yeah, another insane freak out to attempt to reconstruct what Funimation has undone... One of the many... Striving for a cause possibly impossibly far out of our reach. I've been to many sites, (this is one of my favorites, by the way!) and everyone is screaming at Funimation or whoever but doing zilch about it. Signing "petitions" will probably do absolutely..... NOTHING! Tried and failed. I have realized that you have a unique creative talent (far beyond my own), and you seem to be able to relate very well to the fans. Maybe you could come up with something.... I know that this is asking A LOT (especially if you enjoy watching this version, and think that it should continue), and appreciate the fact you have taken the time to read this long letter. Usually I don't come out like this, but I've had my fill of Funimation's massacre; along with all the other ba-gillions of fans who are angry. Sad, isn't it. They can't please everyone, I know, and they will most obviously please their "wicked overlords". I must say that I screamed when I read the "Trunks... When he appears on Cartoon Network in a few months (hopefully)...." I love Trunks to death, and would perfer to see him destroy King Kold in his full glory, not in some watered-down version where the voice "actors" are lucky if they can annunciate everything correctly.
