The Greedy Visitor
If you have a Dragonball/Z/GT website,
or any other site that is a fan site for any particular
multimedia, you would know that most visitors to your
site are greedy. It's true. They are also very lazy.
I cannot count how many e-mails I have received asking
me to send files to them. First of all, why should I
waste my time sending files to you when I clearly post
them on my site? If you are too lazy to download them
yourself when they are readily available, you have some
problems. Also, don't expect and update every hour,
or as some of you seem to think needs to be done. The
webmasters have ACTUAL LIVES, whether you believe it
or not, and they do not revolve around YOU, the single
visitor in thousands of others. If you have an intelligent
question to ask, or a decent suggestion to make, or
even praise (which is always welcome :) then you should
send it. If you are planning on screaming (or should
I say typing) your head off, then please, don't even
waste your timewriting the message.
Not only are many of you being greedy,
but you are being ignorant at the same time. You may
ask, "What was Vegeta's power level during the
Freeza saga?" First off, from the way I've seen
most e-mails look, it would look like this: "Wha
waz Vegitas pl during the freezersaga please".
Anyway, if you are asking this question, think about
something first. Look at the website closely. Is there
a section clearly marked "Power Levels"? Well,
if there is, take a look! Laziness never pays
off. If there isn't, go ahead and e-mail them. But at
least use proper grammar and spell right.
On another note, there are plenty of nice
visitors. Those are mostly the people that understand
that DBZ is a cartoon, a character cannot be offended
because it does not exist, and are mature enough to
realize that most things on that glowing screen that
your eyes are glued to us not real. Especially cartoons;
it doesn't take a genius to figure out that it is fake.
Then there are the "DBZ InDUHviduals"
(I love Dilbert) that decide to make their own webpages.
Sure, thats fine with me, just DO NOT use my material.
Have any of you out there had this happen to you? If
it has, raise your hand. Ok, you can put it down now.
I see that most of you are extremely mad when this happens,
and you are in every right to be so. I would have to
blow my top if someone took original material off of
my page (this would be a situation where you CAN type
your head off,you have a good reason).
So, if there are any "DBZ InDUHviduals"
out there that are reading this, don't worry. You'll
learn how to indent your paragraphs too when you finally
get to third grade.
